Aliases are stored in the .squirrel-sql folder in the Users\<logonid> folder as an xml file SQLAliases23.xml. The Aliases menu provides options for this.

Re: alias definitions are not saved on windows

René A Valencourt

Hello Stanislav,

You should not have to have created the .squirrel-sql folder in the Users\<logonid> folder.

E.g., my user id is ‘rvalen’.  So I find already there a ‘.squirrel-sql’ folder in the ‘Users\rvalen’ folder, and within it is a file named ‘SQLAliases23.xml’.

Thus, ‘Users\rvalen\.squirrel-sql\SQLAliases23.xml’.
