Re: [Squirrel-sql-users] Where do I find changes for each release?

Robert Manning
Hi Betsy,

The changelog is here:
http://squirrel-sql.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/squirrel-sql/trunk/sql12/doc/src/main/resources/changes.txt

But... I sense that is not what you are looking for since you are
attempting to compile the code from source.  May I ask, what kind of
SQuirreL application are you developing/maintaining ?  Do you plan to
continue development ?

There have been many "backwards-incompatible" changes to the code-base
since 2.x and in the past we have never been aware of outside developers
that would be affected by this.  If there were a community of developers
that would be negatively impacted by our practices, we would like to know.

FYI: I switched the mailing list to the development list - please take note
and post to this list for these types of questions.

Re: [Squirrel-sql-users] Where do I find changes for each release?

Baxter, Betsy
Hi Rob,

I'm new to this project, so I think I used the wrong terminology.  We
have a plugin for Squirrel that can be used to access our database
product Supra.  The original plugin was written in 2008 for Squirrel
2.6.5a.  But it was put on the shelf due to sporadic problems and not
enough time to research/resolve them.

I have resolved some of those issues in the 2.6.5a product.  I am trying
to upgrade to Squirrel 3.3 and I'm getting many compile errors.  One
group of errors are due to our plugin using BaseSessionInternalFrame and
I have found that it is no longer where it used to be -
client.gui.session.

Any suggestions or input would be greatly appreciated.

Betsy

Many thanks!
