Inserting records in Oracle with Squirrel

Martyn Fagg
I'm using Squirrel (v 2.0) with Oracle 9.2 and it works fine, except
when inserting records through the object explorer. After right clicking
on the table content and 'Make Editable', I right click again and select
'Insert Row'. This brings up a dialog window containing the empty
columns ready for me to fill in.

This all works fine, except one of the columns is 'RowID' which is
normally automatically generated by Oracle. If I leave it blank, the
record ends up with a null value in the rowid column.

Is this a bug or a feature? Shouldn't this column be hidden from the
user on the insert dialog?
